How do you ensure the wig fits?
You will provide measurements of your head and the wig will be created based on those measurements. These measurements should be added to the “Notes” section to seller when you place your order (on the checkout page). Just Key Beauty is NOT responsible for a fit based on incorrect measurements.
Your note for measurements should include:
- Circumference
- Ear to Ear (over the head)
- Front to Nape (back of head)
**Note: There are many YouTube videos on how to do this.**
The proper measurements means you do NOT need any glue or elastic bands in your unit as they are custom fit for your head size. Imagine wearing a fitted cap.
Can you measure my head?
Yes, I offer virtual consultations (facetime, duo, etc) to help you measure your head or you can have me do it in person for $20.
Can I purchase hair for my unit?
Yes. Just Key Beauty offers a selection of hair and closures for wig construction. You do NOT have to purchase hair from the website. Customers can provide their own hair for the wig to be made.
PLEASE NOTE: At times hair vendors use synthetic fibers and chemicals on hair bundles to make it presentable to sell. Just Key Beauty offers bundles that are human hair and is chemical free.
HOW DO I GET MY HAIR TO YOU TO MAKE my WIG?
Once you place your order I will contact you with an address to send your hair to me to construct your unit.
Prior to sending your hair please ensure you have done these steps:
- Wash and detangle your bundles. Only ship clean and untangled hair. If hair is received dirty and needs to be washed or detangled an additional fee will be incurred
- Remove any thread from your weft left over from previous installs/use
Can you install my unit?
Yes you can book an appointment for this service for an additional fee starting at $40 (includes proper braid down to ensure wig lays properly and install).
How long will it take to receive my unit?
Construction for each wig takes up to 4-6 weeks. Standard shipping is 4-6 business days.
Can I get my order sooner?
Yes, you can request expedited service for an additional cost. This service can be added to your cart when placing your order.
My wig needs to be washed and re-styled.
We are happy to offer wig laundry services! Ship us your unit and we will wash and style is like new again. This service is listed on the website.
What's the difference between a frontal and closure?
All Just Key Beauty units are created using closures unless otherwise noted. Closures allow for wigs to be worn without glue and to be taken on and off.
- Frontals span from ear to ear and are more versatile for styling.
- Closures are placed in the center front of the head to close the style.
How long does Just Key Beauty hair last?
Our hair bundles can last you several years with proper care.
Our lace closures and frontals have lesser longevity due to the delicate nature of the lace the hair is attached to. Lace closures and frontals are essential in giving your natural hair a break from everyday manipulations that can cause breakage. These same breakage can also occur with lace closures.
Lace closures and frontals are designed to be seamless enough to create a flawless illusion of a scalp when installed. Please take proper precautions when combing, styling, coloring, etc in order to increase longevity as much as possible.
Lace closures and frontals may need to be replaced eventually depending on how often they’re worn and how often they’re being manipulated. From experience, we’ve had lace products that have lasted for years but then again, each individual’s experience will differ.
Does the hair shed?
All hair sheds! Be it your own hair that grows from your scalp or attached to wefts or lace by humans, it will shed. Shedding should be extremely minimal. Keep in mind, different styling manipulations and products can cause extra shedding so please take proper precautions when styling your hair.
Do you accept returns?
Due to hygiene issues and the custom nature of our products all wigs are final sale. If you have any issues with your order please contact me. Just Key Beauty is committed to providing you high quality products and exceptional shopping and customer service experience.
Do you have a layaway/installment plan?
Yes, I do offer a layaway plan that allows you to pay for your unit in installments. Please be advised that all layaway plans are an additional $25 to your final price.
If you choose to do layaway I will divide the total cost of the wig into 3 payments (plus the $25 installment plan fee). You can pay whenever you chose. When you are ready to send a payment contact me and I will send you a PayPal invoice.
Once you complete all of your payments I will begin constructing the unit.
